Principled People

Updated: Mar 11

We act with integrity and honesty, with a strong sense of fairness and justice, and with respect for the dignity and rights of people everywhere. We take responsibility for our actions and their consequences.

February was full of principled people and explorations of what it means to live in a principled way.

Principled action with Community Project

In the spirit of the IB Learner Profile trait of being Principled, students engage in meaningful community projects that demonstrate responsibility, integrity, and a commitment to making a difference. By tutoring peers, they foster academic growth and confidence in others. Through helping animals, they show compassion and advocate for the well-being of all living creatures. By teaching younger students, they take on leadership roles, sharing knowledge and inspiring curiosity. Through creating murals, they bring communities together, using art to tell stories and celebrate diversity. Each of these projects reflects a dedication to service, ethical decision-making, and a desire to leave a positive impact on the world.

Black History Month

We celebrate Black History Month through recognizing and honoring the contributions, and achievements made by Black Americans. We connected people from history and today to our learner profile and were inspired by all we learned as we noticed the many ways principled people show integrity, respect, and a commitment to truth.
