The path to international- mindedness is the development of the attributes of the Learner Profile.

This week we consider the attribute of BALANCED.

We understand the importance of balancing different aspects of our lives—intellectual, physical, and emotional—to achieve well-being for ourselves and others. We recognize our interdependence with other people and with the world in which we live.W

OPEN HOUSE

We hosted our first virtual open house and teachers shared their virtual classrooms and our efforts to help balance the different aspects of our lives as we work and go to school from home.

Mrs. Taylor in MYP Mathematics shared her thoughts on in balance in life and in Maths as she shared reflections on the experience of on-line learning, both as the joys and challenges, as well as a bit about herself. She also focused on a balanced approach to Mathematics.

Open House provided the opportunity to learn about Schoology, other online platforms, a typical day of learning, the year in IB Units of Inquiry and other elements of our IB program.

Our PYP Essentials and Language and literature teachers illustrate importance of balancing different aspects of our lives—intellectual, physical, and emotional.

Our artists and mathematicians are busy and balanced- solving mathematical problems, creating art and responding to event sin the world around us. Check out these artistic tributes to RBG.
