The second week of school has been full of activities that help create a peaceful learning community. Across the school and in every classroom, we are working on getting to know each other and establishing caring classrooms that support student success
Our Essential Agreements help keep our community safe and make it easier to learn.
The Essential Agreements at CIS are:
Communicate Kindly
Listen
Stay with the group
Respect the environment
Respect personal space
Be inclusive
We have been spending time thinking about what these agreements look like, sound like and feel like. We also identified the roles of teachers and students and some goals and ideas for the year.
Living the IB Learner Profile helps us recognize our strengths and develop as internationally- minded people. These attributes also connect back to our Essential Agreements. Read more about the Learner Profile here.
