Another theme we explore is How we Organize Ourselves. This theme supports an inquiry into the interconnectedness of human-made systems and communities; the structure and function of organizations; societal decision-making; economic activities and their impact on humankind and the environment.

The move to hybrid learning has required a lot of organizing and consideration of the interconnectedness of systems and communities. Some of us return to school a few days a week and we will all stay connected on zoom or in a classroom.

We can't mask our enthusiasm. We welcomed teachers and K-2 learners this week.

Start the day safe with a temperature check and your mask on:)

So much learning and thinking. Systems in place to keep everyone safe.

Our community connects with our remote learners. Systems keep us connected.

We connect through music and work together.

How we organize ourselves in Grade 2, with an inquiry into economic activities and their impact on human kind and the environment. These thinkers have been busy considering economics, choices and supply and demand during the pandemic. They uses creativity to create masks with some very innovative and useful features to make them more comfortable and effective. They also spent time considering the impact of the pandemic on local businesses and are ready to take action by creating a CIS Business directory. Please click here to find out more and include your business in the directory.

We are ready to welcome hybrid students in grades 3-8, and as always are ready to see you you on a zoom! Online or in- person _ Be awesome today :)
