Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year and our theme is READY... SET... ACTION! We are ready for a year full of curiosity, learning, creativity and action. Action and service are important parts of all IB programs. At Campus International our mission includes "action with understanding an courage to make the world a more peaceful place". Taking action with our learning shows we have changed from our learning. We know more, we understand more we want to do something with what we have learned.

We walked the red carpet on our first day of school. It was a day full of smiles and fun!

We are so excited about this healthy and delicious option in the cafe. Our thinkers and action takers have been researching suggesting healthy options and now they are here.
Building Community
The school year begins with building community. Class meetings, group activities, reading and discussions help build our academic community that learns and grows together all year.
Solving problems in teams builds our thinking and social skills.
Thinking about the action we will take this year to learn and grow, identifying our feelings and thinking about how we want our classroom to look, feel and sound set the stage for a great year.

Our kindergarteners had their first full day of school on Friday. They had a great day!
Introducing MYP House Teams
Each of student in MYP joined a house team on Friday. These teams will last all year and work to build community in MYP. There are four houses with members from all grade levels. Meet our teams.
Jomei is a Japanese name meaning ‘to spread light.’ Members understand the impact their actions and words have on the world around them. They are known for their uplifting nature — always rising above, and helping others do the same.
Sisu House is formed by strong-willed and hard-working individuals who harness inner strength and tenacity. They remain humble and let their actions speak volumes. When they are faced with adversity, members do not back away from the challenge, but rather answer the call with fervor!
Kairos is a call to action.The Kairos spirit sees the injustice in the world and is moved to make the world a better place. However, they understand there is an ‘opportune time’ and a ‘right way’ to handle these errors.
The Ubuntu House is founded on the recognition of a shared humanity; “I am, because we are.” It is understood that personal success is achieved through the knowledge, experiences, and compassion shared by other members. When we work together, we all rise.
After finding out which team they were on, MYP spent the day on collaborating and creating with their team. Thanks to SPO for a great lunch.
