Sharing the Planet

An inquiry into rights and responsibilities in the struggle to share finite resources with other people and with other living things; communities and of the relationships within and between them; access to equal opportunities; peace and conflict resolution


We have been exploring Sharing the Planet in so many ways, as we took time to appreciate our each and our connection to it on Earth Day. Discussions, inquiries and calls to action were a part of many classrooms exploring communities, relationships, equality and justice.


CELEBRATING EARTH DAY

Thinking about ways we can share and conserve the Earth's finite resources.

Enjoying some time outside and observing and appreciating nature.

Making paper in kindergarten. Resusing and creating.




THINKING about Exhibition in Grade 5

Thinking about sharing resources, saving animals, peace and conflict, equal rights and ending building strong communities where everyone is safe. These projects are focused on making the worked a better place.

SHARING THE PLANET and researching living things and interdependence.


Watching things grow and learning what living things need to survive.


Fourth Grade thinkers exploring our new mural and researching these famous places around the world and their communities.


Exploring Individuals and Societies and communities and relationships through research and conversation in MYP.


Mathematicians around the school explore relationships.

Inquiries into time and measurement and the relationship between the two.



Science, creative writing and s'mores.

Celebrating our city with enthusiasm.

And the the perfect message to end our week and share the planet....
